About Mid South Retrievers

Our basic obedience program is designed to help your dog obey by using positive reinforcement. This training consist of leash work, heel/sit/stay and introduction to collar conditioning. (We do not use ecollars to punish our retrievers but to collar condition.) Minimum of 1 month for this program. 

Our basic gun dog program is oriented for clients who want to introduce their retriever to the basics of retrieving, introduction to the whistle and force fetching. This program will get your gun dog to a point where you can handle them in the field and to retrieve birds to hand at a basic level. Minimum of 2 months required for this program. 

Our hunt test program is geared for the owners who want to see their retriever earn titles at the junior level, senior level and finishing at master level. This program consists of multiple land/water marks, blind retrieves, t pattern, steadiness and hunt test scenarios. (Owner is responsible for paying hunt tests entry fees if we handle the dog at a test) Minimum of 6 months is required for this program.
